A beautiful and perfect ocean-view wedding at Lanikuhonua in Oahu, Hawaii. This venue is in Ko Olina beach resort and has perfect views of the sunset for your special day.
Lanikuhonua is a stunning wedding venue located right next to the ocean, offering breathtaking views of Oahu’s west side. The space is perfect for outdoor ceremonies and receptions, with plenty of lawn area to accommodate your vision. You can even include fun additions like party games for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour.
Ceremonies are often set up near the shoreline, giving couples and their guests an incredible backdrop of rolling waves. Situated within the well-known Ko Olina resort area, Lanikuhonua truly embodies the dream of a picturesque west-side Oahu wedding.
Sam and Hailee’s wedding day began with quiet anticipation as they prepared in separate suites at the stunning Four Seasons hotel. Hailee spent the morning surrounded by her closest friends and family, savoring every heartfelt moment as her bridal look came together. Meanwhile, Sam shared laughs and camaraderie with his groomsmen, the buzz of the day building steadily in his room.
The day’s emotions started to unfold during the first looks. Hailee shared a heartfelt moment with her dad, who couldn’t hide his pride seeing her in her dress. Then came the first look between Sam and Hailee, where his smile said it all—pure happiness.
This ocean side ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect. They had these dark wooden chairs set up in neat rows, just enough for their close friends and family—it felt so intimate. The arch was simple but just the right touch of beautiful, with Hawaiian-style flowers that matched perfectly with the ones along the aisle. It wasn’t over-the-top, just really them.
When everyone walked down the aisle, you could feel how much love was in the air. Hailee and Sam’s vows were so emotional—there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd.
After the ceremony, everyone headed off to the cocktail hour, which gave me the perfect chance to sneak away with the bride and groom for some sunset photos. The great thing about Lanikuhonua is that it has this amazing beach, so we made our way down during golden hour. The light was incredible, and we captured some of the most romantic, intimate moments—it felt like time slowed down for them.
After we finished up, they headed back to the reception, ready to dive into the night with their favorite people. You could tell they were excited to just relax, celebrate, and soak in all the love around them.
